Robot Revolution
In Robot Revolution, you play as a pair of adventurers in a steampunk-style world full of not-so-friendly robots. Your goal is to escape from the robotic uprising, taking down any machines that stand in your way! Do you have what it takes to make it out?
The adventurers draw their strength from chance, and they rely on dice to grant them strength and agility in combat. However, a low roll does not simply mean the end, as it can allow you to unleash as slower, yet much stronger attack. Be careful, as your enemies also harness the same luck that you do, and also use devious traps to prevent escape.
(This game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2022. The theme was Roll of the Dice.)
Controls:
- Space to roll the dice
- Left mouse to select a character or enemy
- Right mouse to move or attack
- Enter to end your turn
- P to exit to the main menu (progress will be lost!)

Excellent implementation of the theme!
I'm honestly a bit ashamed of myself for making the typical boring top-down shooter and then squeezing the theme in somehow.
I really like how the dice works, especially that a low roll isn't necessarily bad.
The graphics are great for a game jam, particularly the animations of enemies and the main characters.
